Dr. Steven Cartmell graduated in 1986 as an honor student for academic achievement and as an honored member of the 1986 class by the Dean of the Optometry school and president of NSU. In addition, Dr. Cartmell earned special awards in glaucoma research. Dr. Cartmell has been a member of the American Optometric Association and Oklahoma Association of Optometric physicians for more than 25 years. He has been married since 1983 and has two daughters. He enjoys spending time with them and enjoying the outdoors. Dr. Cartmell's goal as an optometrist has always been to do everything in his power to satisfy the eye care needs of his patients.
Dr. Rachel Sires completed her undergraduate degree at Oklahoma State University and her Doctorate of Optometry degree from the NSU Oklahoma College of Optometry, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Sires joined Vision Care of Tulsa in 2020. She enjoys working with all age groups in helping patients see the world a little more clearly. Outside of work, Dr. Sires enjoys reading and being outdoors!
Dr. Cartmell sees patients Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
