This program is designed by clinical therapist, Toshia Shaw, LCSW, who has developed the Somatic Sound therapy approach of sound healing. This method is based on mindfulness, the neuroscience of sound, mind-body awareness, and deep listening. This program is designed to give an understanding of the principles of healing with sound and to educate on how to apply therapeutic sound interventions. You will learn how to facilitate sound meditation groups and sound healing sessions for individuals.This program includes 3 levels for 20 hours and apprenticeship hours for a total of 40 hours. When you complete the program you will receive a certificate as a Sound Practitioner of the Flowing Lotus Center. This program is available in-person and virtual on Zoom. It is preferable to do classes in person if you can.
