VEGGIE WORKSHOP

In deze workshop neem ik je graag mee haar het verre India! Mijn laatste reis waar ik verliefd geworden ben op de geurige, pittige curries. De vele soorten flatbreads, samosas, bananabuns, het fantastische streetfood,..

Deze keuken bevat zoveel smaken & geuren door de vele invloeden van verschillende landen & streken. India zelf is zo gigantisch, elke staat met z'n eigen taal, tradities & gerechten. Maar daarnaast zijn er ook de onmisbare kenmerken van de Portugese, Perzische en Aziatische keukens in te herkennen. Dit alles heeft geleid tot een unieke mix naar de fantastische Indische keuken zoals we deze nu kennen.

De Indische keuken wordt gekenmerkt door het gebruik van kruiden zoals: chili, kaneel, kruidnagel, steranijs, komijn, venkelzaad, koriander, fennugriek, kurkuma en vooral garam masala. Daarnaast kunnen look, ui, tomaat, cashew, gember en kokos ook niet ontbreken.
