Canvas Painting Classes offer step-by-step instruction from one of our talented artists. We strive to offer paintings that would great hanging on your wall, but simple enough to finish within two (2) hours. Our classes are intended to be social events where we want you to have a great time with your friends and family, and possibly make some new friends as well. We offer "fun art" not "fine art".Please arrive 5-10 minutes early as all classes start and end on time. Guests that arrive late will have to catch up during times where the instructor breaks to allow paint to dry or to allow guests to be ready for the next step.

Wooden Sign Making is one of our most popular classes offered at Cork & Canvas! Choose the project you wish to create. We will add new designs periodically. Our instructor will guide you through the process of creating your own custom wooden sign in this 3 hour class. From sanding and staining to stenciling and painting, you will learn to work with natural wood grains, knots, and textures. You will leave with a piece of art that is one of a kind. Even if you have never lifted a paintbrush, not to mention woodworking tools, this class is for beginners or expert artisans alike.  Our graphic designer will make stencils that allow you to customize your sign with your family name and special dates in your life. You will also have the opportunity to choose paint colors and wood stain that best coordinate with your style and taste. Pre-registration is required. Registration will close a few days prior to the event so we can prepare your custom items. Select which design you wish to make. You can see all of our options HERE. Custom designs can be ordered for an additional $10. You will need to email the studio with your idea to shelli@corkandcanvastx.com. IMPORTANT: Please provide Family Name and Established Date to personalize your sign. We will prepare your materials exactly as you submit text to us, so please be aware of spelling, grammar and punctuation. Thank you! CHANGES: Personalization changes can be made up until 5 days prior to the event. At this point stencils will be made and there will be a $10 re-cut production fee. The signs are made from natural wood which has natural knots that give it rustic style. No two pieces of wood are alike and grains and textures vary from each piece.
