Practices are 1 hour long and take place at Heritage Park at the Bayfield Basin Transient Marina (walk to the bottom of Bayfield street and keep walking toward the lake until you see a blue shed). Please arrive 15-20 minutes before to meet your steersperson/coach to go over safety, technique and warm up. It is highly recommended to hire a coach for all your practices. Here’s a break down of an average 2 hour session. 10 min intro/ice breaker, 10 min of paddle technique and safety. 60 min-90 min of paddling on water/racing. 10 min cool down/debrief. Corporate Recess provides all life jackets and paddles. Each boat can accommodate up to 20 paddlers. For an additional fee, an onsite lunch can be provided.
