Our growing client base requires us to undertake site specific drainage surveys from standard connectivity/condition to pre & post rehabilitation as well as identifying ongoing issues, where we are constantly improving our services to meet these requirements. The latest CCTV survey drain inspection camera technology and digital delivery is therefore the most cost-effective method, identifying current and potential problems within your drainage system.Utilising remote controlled modular camera systems or flexible push rod systems, designed for the exact purposes, our trained & experienced engineers, in most cases, do not need to enter drains to undertake the survey, but are fully confined space trained if the need is required. As the CCTV survey progresses on site, the camera moves along the pipeline either by a remote-controlled crawler unit or pushrod system upstream and downstream and the distance from its starting and finish points are recorded. The CCTV records structural defects, service & operational observations, anomalies together with other useful observations including images taken of the noted defects during the survey. The necessity of cleaning a pipeline prior to a CCTV survey depends on the survey’s relevance. If, for example, a sewerage system has frequent blockages, it is advisable to survey without cleaning, to determine both the service as well as structural condition. However, if a structural drainage survey is required, with prior knowledge of significant defects, cleaning the pipeline in advance is recommended.Once we have completed the survey, all the digital collected data will be processed into a final report to the latest WRC MSCC5 standard and distributed Final CCTV survey report will include:Overview of the works undertakenGraded levels of noted defects Production of new or updating existing site plans List of proposed remedial repair recommendations following the survey
