In naming this whare which is connected as a Wairuatanga and Whanaungatanga mauri zones, we would like to pay homage to the Sisters of Mercy (Ngā Whāea Atawhai) who originally established Loreto College and oversaw the building of the Chapel which is the only building from Loreto College that remains.Atawhai means mercy and it is the hope that this building would hold the mauri of Ngā Whāea Atawhai and that their mana and pūrākau would remain within as testimony to the whakapapa of caring, which this area was set apart to fulfill.

Thank you for booking the amenities room at Luxia. Your booking is not complete until you receive a confirmation email. Confirmation will be sent after your $75 rental fee cheque has been received by a member of Strata Council. Please make sure the amenities room is left clean and tidy. Do not leave garbage outside of the bins, and follow all complex bylaws. If extra cleaning or repairs are required, the cost will be charged to the associated strata lot.
