During an initial consultation there will be a detailed discussion of your condition, a diagnosis by Chinese Medicine principles, and a treatment plan will be decided. Then we get to business - you may get homework. Sometimes an extended consultation is needed for clients who present with multiple conditions.

Clients requesting prescription repeats that have not had an appointment in 3 months or more will need to book a follow up prior to further dispensing as follow up tests or dosage adjustments may be required.

Community Acupuncture applies rapid diagnosis & treatment, usually 5 to 15 mins diagnosis and from 30 mins to 1 hour to relax with the acupuncture needles in place.
