This 2-day private ceramics hand-building course is perfect for those looking to try something new and develop their artistic skills, as well as for those interested in learning about the world of ceramics. Whether you are a complete beginner or have some prior experience, this course is sure to provide a hands-on learning experience. The course is 7 hours long in total, with 5 hours dedicated to hand-building and 2 hours to glazing. The date and time of the glazing session will be discussed during the first day of the course. This private course (1-2 participants) is designed to introduce you to the world of hand-building with stoneware clay, allowing you to create beautiful ceramic objects just by using your hands. Over the course of two days, participants will learn the basics of hand-building and glazing. The first day of the course will be dedicated to hand-building, where you will learn the fundamentals of working with clay. You will receive step-by-step guidance for creating your vessels, whether a cup, vase, bowl or any abstract form. The second day of the course, approximately two weeks later, will be dedicated to glazing. You will learn how to prepare your pieces for glazing and how to apply the glaze. The glazing session will provide a great opportunity to see your pieces transformed, adding the finishing touches to your hand-crafted ceramic objects.€ 240 p.p. including materials & firing costs

Whether you're a beginner or have some prior experience, this workshop guarantees a hands-on journey.Feel free to bring 2-3 bisque-fired stoneware or porcelain pieces, either from a previous ceramics course or your personal studio, and explore a diverse array of samples to spark your creativity.Tailored for private sessions with 1-2 participants, this course is designed to introduce you to the world of glazing, enabling you to enhance your ceramic pieces with distinctive glazes. Throughout the 2-hour duration, participants will engage in glazing activities employing various techniques, such as spatulas, a spraying booth, syringes, squeezing bottles, and more.€ 120 p.p. including materials & firing costs

Come join us in making and shaping sustainable products for your own personal use. This is a voluntary donation workshop, monies raised will go towards 'Sustainable Ruislip' You may be asked to pay for materials used, depending on which activity you participate in, feel free to bring along your own materials.

Are you daunted by spreadsheets and don't know where to start? Or are you a more advanced user who wants to move to the next level ? This session can help get you started with basic formulas and tables or some of the more complex functions like vlookups, pivot tables and charts. You can also bring along your own spreadsheet for some help on a particular task . Excel (or its free Google equivalent - Google Sheets) is a brilliant tool for calculating and tracking all types or numerical data - most obviously household expenses or small business accounts but can be daunting if you've never used it before Once you have registered your interest I will contact you to understand what level of support you would like so i can best tailor the session. (Please register at least by the day before if possible!) You will need to bring your own laptop to the session.

We are so excited for our first amazing styled shoot of 2019! Due to popular demand, we put together a custom spring themed set perfect for children and babies. This gender neutral set brings the light and airy feel of spring in the comfort of our studio! We look forward to capturing your Easter or spring memories on this set, complete with a private gallery with print copyright releases. The 30 minute session will be perfect for children. We advise one outfit for this set. (Don't worry, we can send you some tips on what to wear and bring!) Specific questions?
