Some languages are written the way they are spoken but English is not. Conventional English spelling is illogical, inconsistent and misleading.

This makes spoken English difficult to teach.

Therefore I use phonetic text to to make learning a clear and logical process, this make everything much easier.

I will first make sure that you can recognise and pronounce all the sounds of mainstream American and British English (there are 46). The next step will be how to string them together to make words. Then we will focus on everyday stock phrases and any other material that is of interest to yourself.

Hi, it's Lidia Chinea speaking! Let me introduce myself. I was born and bred in north London to a couple of adventurous and extremely brave Spanish immigrants from the Canary Islands. Now, we are all back in sunny Tenerife where we currently live. This is my parents' homeland, and it is here where I have been teaching English as a second language for over 16 years. 

Due to these uncertain COVID-19 times, I have been encouraged to expand my business online and I am now offering Spanish lessons to all my English speaking friends out there who would like to improve their skills in the language of Cervantes. Just in case you don't know who Cervantes was, he is the equivalent of Shakespeare and the author of one of the greatest books in Spanish literature, Don Quixote. 

I expect my speaking lessons to be as easy-going as possible for my students, making use of real local expressions and useful vocabulary as well as trying to make you fully aware of the common mistakes you make as native English speakers. I love to focus on pronunciation and intonation through drilling exercises.

Los negocios locales y fuerzas de seguridad también tendrán que responder a cuestiones y dar información relacionada con nuevas medidas implantadas en su trato directo con personas de habla inglesa y otras lenguas. Cuando regresen paulatinamente los turistas y se permitan , nuestra amabilidad con estas personas extrajeras de habla inglesa deberá estar afianzada. Será crucial saber comunicar nuevas medidas, dar recomendaciones de higiene y conducta de forma correcta, dar claras de indicaciones de nuevos pasos administrativos o instrucciones a seguir y para ello contar con un vocabulario específico en inglés.

Este entrenamiento de conversación es específico para las personas trabajadoras en cualquiera de estos sectores.

The first year of the Kindergarten programme focuses on vocabulary retention and comprehension. Using internationally known stories and fairytales, the child is encouraged to converse about the stories and give opinions, encouraging associative learning.

At Kindergarten 2, we introduce Chinese folktales, heritage, and myths to your child, as entities to direct their imagination of the language. This will help him or her to gain a foundational understanding of the Chinese culture and history via actual linkage to the Chinese words they are exposed to.
