Karate means “empty hand” in Japanese. It is a martial art that focuses on empty handed strikes, blocks and defense techniques. An ancient Japanese practice, karate was refined over thousands of years. East Asian immigrants imported it to the west in the 20th century. It found a home first on the west coast and then spread through the rest of the United States. Movie stars like Bruce Lee helped popularize the martial art and now, it’s become a staple of American culture.

With a thorough understanding of karate, students explore self-defense. They take control over their lives in every aspect. Karate teaches self-discipline and self-confidence just as much as it teaches strength, speed, agility and flexibility.

Kids Self Defence classes. Our classes for children have a dedicated “Young-Samurai kids” (or mon) jujutsu grading system and are designed for children aged 6 to 12 years.  

In our children’s classes, students will learn respect, humility, confidence, coordination, self-discipline and focus.

For students who want to learn or perfect their Krav Maga self-defence and dynamic striking fundamentals. Catered to all students from beginner to advanced, this class covers a variety of tactical and dynamic fighting principles essential for efficient and effective self-defence.

Our Future Champions Program focuses on instilling values such as respect, strength, and confidence in children ages 3-6. Students will be taught high-level Jiu-Jitsu techniques by our experienced Jiu-Jitsu instructor in an environment that is safe, fun, and challenging.

Our instructors are committed to helping parents mold their children into respectful and positive young adults. Parents are encouraged to stay during lessons to witness their kids becoming stronger and more confident with each passing class and to cheer them on every step of the way.

Mon. & Wed. @ 6pm / Tues. & Thurs. @ 7pm 

Advance your Jiu-Jitsu game flow during this course. Take your training beyond the fundamentals and begin to hone the principles you need to succeed, such as discipline, respect, commitment, and leadership.

Our GBK2 Program focuses on instilling values such as respect, strength, and confidence in students ages 7-12. Students will be taught high-level Jiu-Jitsu techniques by our experienced Jiu-Jitsu instructor in an environment that is safe, fun, and challenging.

Our instructors are committed to helping parents mold their children into respectful and positive young adults. Parents are encouraged to stay during lessons to witness their kids becoming stronger and more confident with each passing class and to cheer them on every step of the way.

This will be a one on one, one on two, or one on three Training session which will help you improve your fitness and Kickboxing. This Session is designed to for beginners, Intermediate or higher.

We will be working on:

Pad/bag work: Punch and kicking combinations

Footwork: Maintain good movement and distance

Balance: Keep the weight balanced on both feet

Timing: Knowing when to punch and when to kick

Fitness: Great aerobic exercises to prepare you to be able to Kickbox efficiently

Strength: Increasing your upper-body strength and utilising the lower body strength, working on core

Speed: Hand speed, Kick speed, footwork speed, speed padding

Flexibility: Stretching your muscles to perform the techniques you desire to perform

Advanced manoeuvres: Faints, side step, Perry, Counter and more

All 1on1 classes will be tailored to the individual and their needs

Each friend will cost £20 extra (first session free!)
