important for us to know the vaccination status of all visitors.

resident.******Before entering the building for any visit, you will be asked to
sanitize your hands before entering the building, and fit yourself with a
surgical mask. Your "intake form" will be on the check-in table. Again,
review the screening questions, document your temperature and sign the
intake form. Please go directly to the resident's room avoiding all
common spaces and public lavatories.***The CDC has published updated "Freedoms for Vaccinated Individuals". This does NOT apply to long term care facilities.Visitation Guidance:
Visits can occur in
either our designated outside visitation area or within a residents
room
providing the visitor and resident can remain 6 feet apart and wear
surgical masks correctly at all times. There are two outside
visitation areas - the side porch off of Waldo's Pub and the Gazebo in
the Courtyard. Only one party per outside visitation area at a time.A resident may walk
outside with a visitor keeping a safe distance apart while wearing a
surgical mask.
Residents can take rides.It
is not recommended to dine in a public restaurant, community dinner or
inside a friend or family member's home. Picnic style dining with a
select amount of friends or family are considered safe at this time.Children must be able to wear a
mask for visits.
What are the visitor
protocols?
All visits must be
scheduled and screened at least 24 hours in advance of a visit. Same day visits will not be permitted.Screening will include exposure risk in the last 14 days as well as international travel. At first, visits will be
limited to 60 minutes per visit to allow multiple residents to have visits
and not create a crowd in our facility. (Spouses and Families coming
from out of town will be granted an exception providing they adhere to the
safety precautions asked of our staff). Up to 2 visitors at one
time if in a Resident’s apartment.Visitors must remain in
the designated visitation area (whether it’s our Visitation Station or a
resident’s apartment). Surgical masks must be
worn at all times. No eating or drinking
while on a visit (to reduce possible virus exposure).Visitors will need to
take the most direct route to the designated visitation area (whether our
fixed area or a resident’s room) avoiding any common areas or public rest
rooms.Visitors cannot
accompany residents to the dining room or group activities.Visits
can occur outside in one of two locations on our campus - the porch
outside Waldo's Pub providing it is one visitation party at a time and
the Gazebo in the Courtyard.
Thank you for your cooperation.
