1-to-1's are individual support sessions for young people. You may access 1-to-1's for a variety of reasons, including: concerns about your wellbeing or mental health, wanting to talk to someone while in isolation, or wanting information about services available to you.
When your session time commences you will be contacted by your preferred method of contact by a youth worker. You may wish to speak over the phone or by Zoom, or via another method. Sessions go for 30 minutes, and you will speak to a qualified and experienced Youth Worker during your session.
It is a confidential space and what you say will be kept between you and the worker you speak to. However if you disclose that you or another person is at risk of harm to yourself or others, youth workers are required by law to inform the relevant services or authorities to ensure your safety and the safety of others.
