Suprya Naveed graduated from the London College of fashion with a BA in Product Development and started her career in fashion design and worked for international brands, specialising in new label launches. Her entrepreneurship, eye for trends and implementation through development caught the eye of investors and she obtained backing to launch her own womenswear label, which was quickly picked up by retailers internationally.Keen to pass on her passion for creativity and fashion, as well as to share the knowledge and ability to make commercial sense out her creations to aspiring young people and graduates, Suprya trained as a teacher and has been teaching Art and Textiles in secondary schools in the UK (age 11 to 18) for several years. In 2020, she started Creative Making, an organisation that promotes the teaching of specialisms not taught in the classroom. These specialism include Fashion design, Fashion illustration, Technical drawing for fashion, commercial awareness, Fashion portfolio design and Career coaching and guidance. She is committed to helping navigate students of any age through the fashion landscape to help you understand the Industry and your place in it, leaving an indelible mark that is truly your own.Suprya is based in Surrey, UK, where she teaches students from Years 7 to 13 full time. She is available for one to one online sessions on Saturdays during term time as well as week days in school holidays. No matter your age or experience, she will tailor make the one to one sessions to suit where you are and your aspirations.
