Hello!
I'm Ami, mum to George, Harry & Isabella and paw-rent to two sausage dogs Pixie and Betty, owner of a huge dressing up collection and Olly Murs no. 1 fan!
My love of Drama and Theatre began when I was about 5 years old and went to see 'Home & Away- The Musical' (yes, that was a thing!!)
Fast forward a few years and after training at Central School of Speech and Drama in London, I became Teacher in Charge of Performing Arts at a grammar school in West Yorkshire. Whilst teaching I absolutely loved directing school productions, the final performances were always incredible but what made me so proud was watching the children develop in confidence and create such magical relationships with each other.
After having my two boys, I said goodbye to teaching and spent my time making memories (although I struggled to stop working altogether and you'd often find me as Tinkerbell with my fairy friends or as Elsa in Arendelle!) It wasn't long after this that I took a change in direction and started teaching music classes to babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers. This is where I found my passion for teaching little ones!
In 2021, I had a little girl, Isabella, and have had the best time doing all things babies and toddler again! I also had the opportunity to run drama classes at the incredible Beyond Imagination Emporium, as well as donning my top hat as The Mad Hatter for their Wonderland parties (I highly recommend!)
Our Stardust classes have the same structure each week to help build your little ones confidence but the themes and adventures are completely different! Over the last few months we have had:
???? We're going on a bear hunt for World Book day
???? We celebrated World Down Syndrome day by learning a song in Makaton
????The King visited us for the Coronation (& we also had yummy cakes!)
???? International Nurses Day was spent become nurses and enjoying role play with lots of props
????for World Africa Day we went on a safari, saw lots of animals and learnt a dance to Waka Waka.
Plus lots more!!!!
I cannot wait to welcome you all to Stardust, ignite your child's imagination, share my love of drama and have a whole lot of fun! ????

What can I expect at Stardust classes?
At Stardust your little stars will be developing a wide range of theatre skills and social skills, developing their confidence, building their self-esteem and making new friendships.
Through drama and imaginative play, movement and song, we will be going on exciting adventures, exploring a range of imaginary worlds and 'real world' situations in a fun and safe environment. Each class is based on a different national event or special day, such as Emergency Services Day and Talk like a Pirate Day, to name but a few!
Our high energy and fast paced classes are designed for children aged 2-4 years old.
During our 40 minute classes, your little stars will:
-learn to express themselves clearly
-develop strong social skills
-build self-confidence
-develop teamwork and cooperation skills
-flourish in their performance skills
-develop their speech and language

Oatlands Community Centre- Wednesdays at 12.50-1.30pm.
