Covid-19 Precautions:

Please do NOT attend for your appointment if you are suffering from a temperature, have a new persistent dry cough or a sudden loss or change of taste or smell;

We will be asking all attendees to wear a mask;

Please wear suitable clothing so the upper arm (high up, close to the shoulder) can be easily and quickly exposed;

The nurse will be wearing personal protective equipment and the area will be wiped clean in between each person;

To minimise exposure with other people, we would ask that you arrive at your allocated time and not early or late.

Please read the points listed below and inform the nurse on the day if any of the following apply to you:

You have an allergy - this is particularly important if it's an allergy to eggs or products that contain chicken;

You have had any reaction to medication or a vaccination in the past;

You are pregnant or breast feeding;

You have received other vaccinations within the last 3 months;

You had any problems after your last flu vaccination;

You are 65 or over. Please note that, this year, the advice is that the quadrivalent vaccine used in this workplace programme is appropriate for adults aged 18-64. However, a slightly different vaccine is recommended for people aged 65 or over. If you are 65 or over please inform the nurse so that this can be fully discussed with you.
