About the company

The Advice Hub provides confidential and independent advice to University of Strathclyde students on a range of issues as detailed below. All advisers can offer emotional support and information on general health and wellbeing. We cannot provide information or advice on immigration matters (including Tier 4 visas) or legal matters or non-University debt. Please ensure you check below to book with the adviser best placed to support you.

Katharine (Mon-Wed only and via Zoom/phone only) advises on housing and welfare/finance. Housing advice includes: University accommodation, private rented accommodation, homelessness, rights and responsibilities, support finding accommodation, tenancy checking, landlord/tenant disputes, deposit disputes. Welfare, finance and money advice includesconsumer rights and complaints, student funding bodies, student loans and bursaries, emergency funding, entitlement and application support for welfare benefits
