The Anxiety Treatment Center of West Michigan's mission is to help create a new world of possibilities for those suffering from unnecessary distressing anxiety. Our passion is to help individuals develop healthy relationships with anxiety through the use of evidence base therapies designed to target the underlying causes of distressing anxiety. The Anxiety Treatment Center of West Michigan is an outpatient mental health practice located in downtown Kalamazoo, MI that specializes solely in the advanced research and treatment of all anxiety disorders & anxiety related issues.

Dr. Shawn Nabors Ph.D. (Individual Therapy)
Shawn Nabors, MA About Shawn is an anxiety psychotherapist & a leading specialist in West Michigan for the treatment of anxiety disorders. In addition, Shawn is also the clinical director of The Anxiety Treatment Center of West Michigan located in downtown Kalamazoo, MI. Mr. Nabors has extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) & Exposure Therapy & Response Prevention. Both therapies are evidence-based forms of psychotherapy considered to be the most effective forms of treatment for anxiety. Shawn attended Western Michigan University where he earned his masters of arts in counseling psychology. Shawn is a member of the American Counseling Association & the Anxiety Disorders Association Of America. Shawn is currently working on his Ph.D. in counselor education and supervision.
