You will get help with the important basics – clickers & markers, rewards, sit, lie down, dropping stuff, leave it, lead skills & some recall etc. like traditional puppy classes. Along with a whole online course to help you with those things

But real world learning is so much more important I want your puppy to have a happy life able to deal with all the situations he will have to face – happily and with confidence.

Having a puppy life coach to help your puppy learn in a real environment is so much more beneficial for your puppy than the artificial environment of doing all the training a church hall.

These are puppy adventures, essential life skills in a real environment not an artificial one.

4 puppies, 5 classes, 4 locations

2 classes indoors to chat, train and learn about rewards, cues, markers, focus, teaching your pup to settle, basic obedience and lots more.

A walk around Yeadon Tarn to do some work on lead skills and then learn about how to build your pup’s confidence, the importance of understanding your dog’s body language and also how to teach your dog to ignore things in the environment.

Another outdoor session at Nunroyd Park; get started with that all important recall training, learning to listen outside not just indoors.

Playtime; at Horsforth Happy Hounds or other secure dog park for some confidence building, puppy playtime social skills, some obedience training and off lead progress.

Six weeks course for puppies that have completed Puppy Class Level 1 and who want to take their canine education to the next level. Suitable for puppies under 12 months of age.

We will be building life skills such as recall, walking on the lead, and your pup focussing on you.

1.5 hours of building a strong recall, so you can enjoy off lead fun with your dogs!

This course is suitable for Dogs over 12 months of age with basic training (completed puppy classes or "self study" at home) who want to take their training further.

Full time slot for up to four dogs. Our dog exercise field in a fantastic rural setting is the perfect place to spend time with your dog or dogs. Ideal for dogs who are in training, nervous, or reactive - you'll be able to take them off lead and play or exercise in a secure setting. 

Half time slot for up to four dogs.This 25 minute time slot is perfect if you're in the area and your dogs and looking for a quick off lead run. Or why not book consecutively with a full slot to book a longer period? Our dog exercise field in a fantastic rural setting is the perfect place to spend time with your dog or dogs. Ideal for dogs who are in training, nervous, or reactive - you'll be able to take them off lead and play or exercise in a secure setting.

Full time slot for those with a larger number of dogs, or why not share it with a friend? Our dog exercise field in a fantastic rural setting is the perfect place to spend time with your dog or dogs. We offer a securely fenced grass field for dog walking complete with a weather shelter and a bench. Up to 4 dogs allowed in one session. (Unless prior permission - 01788 892004)

Arrival at the field.

You will be sent a message one hour before your booking with the access code for the gate. Codes will be changed on a regular basis.

When parking please use the in- field parking space. Please shut the gate behind you before releasing dogs from your car. If your party has more than one car please park in the marked parking spaces adjacent to the field gate. If parking outside the field dogs must remain on a lead until they are securely inside the field. Parking is at your own risk.

Dog training delivered by Search and Rescue Dog Handler, Jim - Strengthen the bond between you and your dog. 

The Basic Class runs for 8 weeks (excluding the first Thursday of each month) and covers basic skills such as sit, down, watch me, wait, give, leave it, recall etc.   This class is ideal for puppies or first time dog owners. 

Whilst it is to a pre-requisite of the advanced course it is recommend that customers attend this course first.

Medium/Large Dog Play Area - 50 minutes Private Hire. £10.00 for 1-4 dogs. 
Our top right play area in the park, set on a slight incline (with great views), best suited for very reactive dogs as the area is the most isolated from the others. Due to the incline this area is great for dogs who like a bit more of a challenge when zooming and playing, although it is not recommended for sighthounds or dogs with mobility issues.

This play area contains equipment and play obstacles best suited to medium/large breeds. With tables for chilling, tunnels for sniffing and exploring, a dog walk for those who like a challenge plus some jumps and other features. 

Each play area has a shelter to help stay dry on rainy days. Bench seating, fresh drinking water, poop bags, waste bins are all provided. A selection of in-house dog toys are available for your pooch to use, please just ask a member of staff. Also one complimentary cup of Tea/Coffee available during your visit.

Please ensure you are ready to leave your play area after your 50 minutes are up, as the play area will be refreshed after your appointment ready for the next visitor coming in. Staff are always on hand should you need any help throughout your visit.

Small Dog & Puppy Play Area. 50 minutes Private Hire. £10.00 for 1-4 dogs.
Our top left play area in the park, a wide flat field area with lots of equipment and play obstacles - all scaled down for smaller sized dogs & puppies to use safely. Larger breeds are of course still welcome to book this play area, as much of the equipment can still be used by them should you wish. 

Plenty of space for zoomies and sniffies as well as a variety of fun pieces of specially designed equipment to for doggies to play on. 

Each play area has a shelter to help stay dry on rainy days. Bench seating, fresh drinking water, poop bags, waste bins are all provided. NOTICE - We run our Agility League from 7pm-8pm on Wednesday's, there is a high chance that dogs may be working next door during this time. Due to this the 7pm slot in this area is not suited to reactive dogs, please check out the Large Dog Area instead as this may be more suited to your pooch. Apologies for any inconvenience.

Agility Area - 50 minutes Private Hire. £10.00 for 1-4 dogs.
Our first play area as you enter the park, a wide, flat grass area with the best access.
Set up fortnightly with a different Agility Course which includes weave poles (suitable for all different weave training methods), jumps, tunnels, a-frame, see-saw, dog walk and more. Our contact equipment is aluminum 'First Contact' competition spec - perfect for those practicing the sport.

This play area has more purpose than just agility, it is most suited for disabled access and is a great space for your dog to play, sniff and zoom, this area is suited to ALL sizes and all ages.
However, if you are booking this play area to use the agility equipment please note that no dogs under 1 year should be using jumps as this is not beneficial for their physical development - please place the poles on the floor for young dogs. For safety reasons; big children (grown ups haha) and little children are not permitted on the dog obstacles.
