Instructions Please go the car park of the prison you book an appointment at (at the date and time you book) and look for the Optima Health or OH Assist van. Remember to bring: Your employee number and HMPPS ID Pass. Remember to keep a distance from other staff and people and only arrive outside of the mobile testing unit 1 minute before your scheduled appointment time. By booking a Covid-19 test, you are agreeing that your employee number and the results of your test will be shared with your Senior Management Team. How does the test work? Appointments last around 15 minutes each. The nurse will administer a blood finger "prick" test (like an HIV test). The test kit will show a negative or positive reading. The nurse will then inform you of your results. Your test kit will then be disposed of. Check out the gallery for images of the van and what the tests look like.
