We start with this one big truth...are you ready?...You are sacred. From this one statement floods an entire lifetime and library of stories that have whispered these words tenderly back to our souls - and ones that have drowned out this message with a cacophony of other tales that shout the opposite to us. Those stories that tell us we're not enough? That we need to sit silent or small ourselves down? That the world and our dreams are not meant for us to enjoy? That we're harmful or shameful? They turn our souls to dirt - stripped of nutrients, unable to organically and sustainably grow what they are meant to grow. When we give ourselves permission to live out of and into our own sacred story, courageously defying all that is blocking our flourishing and sacrificing our joy on its altar, we come alive, and our souls become fertile and life-giving soil for ourselves and our community. We happen to believe the best stories are ones that connect us back to each other in right relationship, and our work at Rewilding Us is to help you liberate the sacred story beating in your soul and share it with the world as a life of radical joy and transformative empowerment, as you write new chapters of love, wildly creative and compassionate courage, and life to the full. We believe that when you come alive, it is good for the world. And we want to see you come alive. Every day. To be rewilded. To return to the sacred YOU you were created to be, so that you can write the love story you want to see unfold in the world every day.We are adept at working with:Survivors of spiritual and religious trauma to help them create post-traumatic joy, spirituality, community, and purposeCaregivers, helping professionals, activists, and world-changers looking to create sustainable impact, thriving beyond compassion fatigue and burnout, purpose and mission for their passions and story, intentional life-giving community, and sustainable joy and thriving Youth and young adults experiencing "stuckness" and disconnect between who they are inside and how they are showing up to school, sports, social groups, and moreThose seeking more joy and connection in their livesThose creating out of trauma and griefAnyone looking for alignment between one's true self and one's purpose and who might be wondering how to protect and nurture this connection in a hustling, grinding, seemingly urgent and crisis-loaded worldAthletes hoping to empower their participation and performance in their sport through deepening their relationship to self, to joy, to earth, and to othersPersons discerning purpose, mission, calling, self-knowledge, and confidence in living boldly and authentically Coaching movement building, ministry development, and community organizingSpiritual wellbeing, discernment, and direction for anyone of any ageIdentity-based empowerment, gifts and values clarification, joy creation, and story liberation and amplification for minoritized and marginalized individuals, including but not limited to those who are economically oppressed, women, the LGBTQIA+ community, BIPOC and AAPI persons, those with disability, and others. We have special experience with single mothers, women, the LGBTQIA+ community, and other minoritized and marginalized individuals discerning a call to spiritual leadership. What Is Integral Life Coaching?Integral Coaching is a proven approach based on "Integral Theory," which enables clients to identify and work with patterns in themselves and the world around them to move in new, life-giving directions and use creativity, embodiment, and adventure as truly transformative parts of their lives to contribute meaningfully to their development and to their connection and contributions to a love-filled world. Each client engages integral coaching in a different way, and no one set methodology will be forced on any client.Your coach is trained and authentically positioned to guide you as you map and travel your journey with resources such as mindfulness, psychology and mental health, trauma and resilience work, systems theory and biocentric emergent strategy (basically, the idea that the small moments when we lean into life are what create life in the most surprising, joyful, and creatively mind-blowing ways), critical theory and cultural/power studies research, kinesiology, science, sociology, somatics, and spirituality to guide you as you create transformation in and around you. We do deep work with tools such as:Intention-setting (Why is your goal important to you? What does it represent?)Mental resilience (Is there a difference between toughness and resilience? How can you develop trust within yourself to carry you through challenges with joy?)Unlearning patterns and stories that translate into our relationship to and experiences of daily life (How comfortable am I with feeling? Does the story of the Giving-Tree read like an autobiography for my life? Am I a grind-culture poster-child? What are the stories I'm telling myself? Do these lead to shame, anxiety, empowerment, imbalance, connection, etc.?)Incorporating adventure, play, embodiment, creative expression, and nature connection as guides and agents of transformation and abundanceThrough Rewilding Us Integral Coaching, you will become the author of your most beautiful and wildly liberated sacred story and the cultivator of your flourishing life and vision, ultimately, living more efficiently, joyfully, fiercely, connectedly, powerfully, compassionately, and courageously!*By request, we work fluently with faith, spirituality, and religion but only explicitly engage these on our client's termsWhat Is Rewilding? This approach follows the wisdom of the earth to cultivate sustainable joy, connection, community, clarity, and wellbeing. Rewilding helps us discern our rhythms, create intentional and meaningful connections and communities, nurture our "soul-soil" to grow and transform sustainably, and trusting the wisdom of our bodies, identities, stories, spiritualities, and earth to guide us to our most powerful living, working and courageous expressions of self and being. And this shows not only in our sense of success, alignment, and fulfillment but also in our performances! Rewilding refers to unlearning harmful patterns and returning to or reclaiming more harmonious, interconnected, and intrinsic ways of thriving so that we stop fitting into molds and norms cast for us and start locating our fire and wildness to grow in sustainable and transformative ways. By tapping into the wisdom of our bodies, identities, stories, ancestors, earth, and spiritualities, rewilding connects us in right relationship to our authentic sacred selves, to our Source (whatever gives us life and is ultimate to us), and to the earth and others around us, so that the transformation we create within ourselves and our lives becomes a gift to the world too! Our clients gain courage to show up differently, advocate courageously, imagine boldly, live truthfully, transform trauma in themselves and their systems, and create change joyfully!Who We Are:Our OrganizationsRewilding Us Integral Coaching is a for-profit, private coaching practice that is affiliated with The Rewilding Ministry organization, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. This program offers a range of training plans and can customize plans to your distance and desires.Rewilding Us Life Coaching - While this program is well-suited for athletes who want to focus on their mental resilience and joy in their sport and can also incorporate enjoyable movement to fit each client's needs and desires, this track offers life coaching for a broad range of clients and life-journeyers who are seeking to make an impact in their world, to connect with joy and purpose, to create post-traumatic thriving and spirituality, or to liberate the story within them and let it grow. Both programs are trauma-informed, queer-affirming, and committed to survivor-centeredness, anti-racism, and intersectional and transformative justice. Our CoachDr. Haley Feuerbacher (MTS, PhD) is founder and executive director of the Center for Courageous Compassion and The Rewilding Ministry and is the head coach at Rewilding Us. She is a certified trauma-informed yoga facilitator, life coach, and RRCA-certified running coach who also earned her doctorate in Religion and Culture, with a certificate in Women's and Gender Studies from Southern Methodist University. A veteran of nearly twenty years in vocational interfaith ministry, pastoral care and spiritual directing, and community organizing with youth and young adult activists and survivors of trauma, Haley is passionate about post-traumatic growth and life to the full and believes in the radical power of joy, story, and compassion to transform trauma in ourselves and our world and create life-giving planetary community. She loves helping people ditch sucky stories and tap into the love stories in their bodies, the earth, and their sacred sources and souls that make every moment magical and every soul sacred. When you work with Haley and her eclectic and personal approach to the adventure of rewiliding, you may find yourself surfing, hiking, doing yoga, creating art, running, dancing, forest bathing, writing, creating rituals, and most definitely laughing - all on your terms and according to what lights your soul on fire, of course!Haley is an ultramarathoner, a former competitive soccer player, an author (check out her book Single (M)Other coming out later this year with Wipf & Stock!), a joy and compassion activist, a story-weaver, and a rheophile (lover of moving, flowing water) who finds her vibe on a surfboard or whitewater boat. She lives in Boulder Creek, California, with her son, partner, and animal-family.Our Commitment to Accessibility, Diversity, and BelongingWe are committed to moving beyond mere inclusion to belonging. You belong here. In this space and on this earth and in whatever sea you're wanting to flow towards or whatever dream you're wanting to make your reality. You are not merely welcomed here and in those spaces but are truly wanted, needed, and celebrated in your authentic, sacred, and unique identity, story, voice, and contribution. Please let us know how we can meet you where you are. We welcome everybody and every body and recognize that our identities mean living is unique to each of us and different for all of us. We do not coach weight loss. Or dieting. Or thin-centering. Or ableism. We are mindful of class-based oppression and are willing to work with you to determine what payment plan will meet you where you are. And we know what it's like to be a single parent - and believe us, this world needs you to come alive and liberate your wild spark, so let us help make this an option for you, whether that's helping you find childcare or developing sessions that involve your children. We can do this thing. Let's rewild together!

We are mindful of the ways that running and running community has not been accessible or welcoming to many persons, and we are here to change that. We are here to rewild running - and this world - and that only happens when all of us can thrive. If this connects with you, we exist for you. Please let us know how we can meet you where you are. We welcome everybody and every body and recognize that our identities mean that running and training and living is unique to each of us and different for all of us. We do not coach weight loss. We can do this thing. Let's rewild together!
