Our WorkSafe BC Dive Medical ensures diver's meet regulatory  Fitness to Dive standards for safe underwater work. Certificates of Medical Fitness are typically issued within one week of the in-person appointment, once all investigation results are reviewed and approved.This Service is for all types of Professional Divers such as but not limited to Commercial, Coast Guard, Fisheries, Scientific and Saturation.WSBC requires a renewal of Dive Medical Fitness Exams every 2 years until 39 years old, then annually.  The Renewal assessment includes:With Each Dive Medical Medical History QuestionnaireIn Office Physical ExamBlood and Urine TestingEvery 2 yearsResting ElectrocardiogramAudiogramExercise Stress Test are required at age 40, then annually when 50 years and older.Additional Investigations May be Required Depending on Findings.

Our Transport Canada Marine Medical ensures Seafarers meet regulatory fitness standards for safe professional mariner work.  Certificates of Medical Fitness are typically issued within one week of the in-person appointment, once all investigation results are reviewed and approved.Marine Medicals Require:1. During your appointment you can expect a thorough oral health examination which may include X-Rays (allows us to assess for cavities as well as the bone levels supporting the teeth), hypertension screening, scaling/root planing, polishing(stain removal), and Fluoride treatment. All radiographs taken can be forwarded to a dentist of your choosing if needed. Please note everyone has individual needs and therefore each treatment plan differs in the services provided. 

During your appointment you can expect an oral health examination which may include X-Rays (allows us to assess for cavities),  scaling of mineralized deposit if needed, polishing(stain and plaque removal), and Fluoride treatment if indicated. We will also provide in depth brushing and flossing instructions to help your child with their homecare!All radiographs taken can be forwarded to a dentist of your choosing if needed. Please note everyone has individual needs and therefore each treatment plan differs in the services provided.
