Passport Acceptance
The Goodnow Library is pleased to announce that the library is currently accepting passport applications on behalf of the U.S. Department of State. U.S. citizens planning international travel may apply for their passports at the library by appointment Mondays through Thursdays from 10 am-8 pm, Fridays from 10 am to 4 pm and Saturdays 10:30 to 3 pm. Appointments are required to ensure that a certified passport acceptance agent is available. The library will have both application forms and renewal forms available. On behalf of the U.S. Department of State, we will assist in accepting applications, collecting fees and mailing forms to the appropriate agency. The library does not offer passport photos, so applicants should come with photos that meet passport photo requirements. For application forms, information on documentation required, photo requirements, fees, and a wealth of other passport and travel information, visit the only official U.S. website for passport information: travel.state.gov. YOU MUST BE TRAINED AND CERTIFIED ON THE NEW OMTECH POLAR LASER BEFORE MAKING AN APPOINTMENT. The Laser Cutter may be booked increments of 30 minutes. You may book up to 4 30-minute slots per day, for a total of 2 hours. Please note that times may not be exact, because of the nature of the machine. Please be patient with us and each other!
