For those who are on their feet all day or work at a desk, have repeated-stress injuries, experience chronic pain, or carry their tension in these areas, this massage offers direct and effective support. Please keep in mind that massage does not heal or prevent injuries, and areas of long-term or chronic tension and pain will likely require both multiple sessions and your personal commitment to consistent hydration and stretching to see lasting improvement.

It is performed over the clothes, without oils or lotions. Due to its name — "shi" (finger) and "atsu" (pressure) — it's often described as a form of acupressure. But it incorporates far more than just acupressure. A Shiatsu massage will involve various techniques including gentle stretching, holding, pressing with palms, thumbs, fingers, elbows, and knees, and when appropriate, more dynamic rotations and stretches to restore or improve flexibility and joint mobility. It is great for headaches, sore backs and anxiety.
