A wonderful winter experience where you drive and take care of your own dog’s team. Get to know the dogs in the kennel. Walking among 30 stray dogs in a pack is an experience in itself.Day 1We will pack the sleds and you will be given a list with "your" own dogs on it. We will provide a brief and precise instruction on how to drive a sled then everything is ready. The tour starts in the forest, goes uphill and through settled landscapes and mountains. Sometimes we have to help the dogs a little. Once we arrive at the hut (lavo), we arrange stabling of the dogs, prepare their food and attend to them before they rest for the night. We then prepare our own dinner and wait for the Northern Lights! Will they appear tonight? The hut can be heated with the fireplace, but is without electricity or water.Day 2We feed the dogs, eat breakfast and pack up our equipment. Now it leads down to Tylldalen again. This day we get to try the brakes! Now we are going down all the hills we drove up on the first day. On arrival back at the kennel, we remove the harnesses and return the dogs to their kennelsAnyone over the age of 12 can drive their own sled. The trip is approximately 40 km over two days. The price includes dinner and breakfast, water, coffee and tea.Bring your own sleeping bag if you have one.Start day 1 at 1pm and return the following day at 11am.Included: Loan of winter suit, over boots (neos), mittens, accommodation, meals, sled, dogs and guide, as described in the programme. Not included: Flights, meals and overnight stays before and after the trip, as well as alcohol.
