To ensure students are given fair opportunity to meet with faculty and staff members, you may make a maximum of SIX appointments with any faculty or staff member, and only ONE time slot per faculty member. Any additional appointments will be deleted to make space for other students. Enjoy expert guidance from Sarah, a certified Open Water Swimming Coach - STA Level 2 and Outdoor First Aider, for a custom session planned around tides and conditions. Maximize your open water swimming potential with our fully risk-assessed and individualized sessions.To take part please ensure you have swim shoes/socks, a tow float, ideally a whistle, a swim hat, warm clothes & a spare costume to put on after (this is up to you, but ideal for keeping you warm after a swim), and a hot drink. Please make sure you eat breakfast prior to morning swims, cake will be provided for after a swim.Optional - Use of Spa at £25pp after swim.There are a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 12 on our swims.Payment must be made in full at time of booking and are non-refundable. Usual kit please and bottle of water????Please do join us for continuing our training in 2026.Winter Pool Training Term2These are indoor pool sessions based at:Away Resorts, Newquay Bay, PorthWednesday evening 7.30-8.30pm Dates: 7th January to 11th February - 6 weeksThe cost for all 6 sessions is £90 A deposit of £20 is required now followed by £70 by the 5th January. You can pay in  instalments of £20 now £25 on 5th January with the remaining £45 due by 26th January.Payment is non-refundable when signing up to the course. Full payment will still be required even if you do not complete the course.Please note this is a coaching course for people who can swim, we will be coaching frontcrawl to be able transfer your skills into the sea.You will need to be able to swim breaststroke of at least 100 metres as a minimum, ideally. It is a 20 metre pool and we have the whole pool for an hour.Swim hats & goggles are compulsory.If you are only able to attend some sessions please email us at cornishkelpie@gmail.com, with the dates you can attend, and if we have spaces we can let you know if there is space.
