Falten und erschlaffte Haut schrecken manche Menschen vor einem ausgiebigen Blick in den Spiegel ab. Leidet erst einmal das Selbstvertrauen unter der schwindenden Jugendlichkeit der Haut, wird es Zeit zu handeln. In der Derma-Medizin und der medizinischen Kosmetik gilt Micro-Needling derzeit als Nonplusultra zur gezielten Auffrischung der Haut. Dabei wird die Haut mit mikroskopisch kleinen Nadelstichen minimal verletzt und zugänglich für heilsame Wirkstoffe und reparierende Feuchtigkeits-Booster.

Es klingt zunächst ein wenig schmerzhaft, wenn mithilfe von Diamanten oder feinen Kristallen beispielsweise die Gesichtshaut im Mikrobereich abgetragen wird. Das ist aber gar nicht so wild. Denn wenn die obersten Hautschichten mechanisch abgetragen werden, dann ist das nur zum Besten. Schliesslich werden dadurch die Hautzellen dazu animiert, sich schneller zu regenerieren, neue Hautzellen wachsen nach und die wirken von Natur aus jünger und praller. Für das Hautbild bedeutet das mehr Jugendlichkeit und strafferes Aussehen.
