Foot reflexology is a treatment that’s been practiced for centuries. It involves applying pressure to different points on the bottom of the foot. It considers the foot as the representation of the human body as a whole: the mirror of the body. Its action is based on the principle of the reflex arc: a pressure on a point of the foot creates a nervous message which, via the spinal cord, induces an involuntary and unconscious physiological response on the targeted organ, restoring its balance. This treatment is used to treat everyday ailments, as well as a personal development technique; in fact, each organ has its own symbolism and reveals a psychological problem that has been somatised.According to tradicional Chinese medicine, these points correspond to different areas of the body. They are believed to have multiple benefits, including reducing stress, aiding digestion, and promoting sound sleep. Reflexology is commonly known as a holistic practice performed on the feet, the concept is that there are meridian points on the feet that correspond with various organs in the body. This method allows the body to be in the best physical and mental conditions to fight or prevent different symptoms or ailments.Help the person to make the most of their own healing resources and their energy to circulate more harmoniously through the body. The purpose of foot reflexology is the maintenance and harmonization of physical, emotional and mental health in general. It is a gentle therapy with no side effects. In addition to being a pleasant experience.BENEFITSFoot reflexology may help with:stress and relaxationpain managementdigestioneyestrainimproved sleepacne, allergies, urinary disordersFoot massages have a relaxing effect and can clear blockages in the whole body. Massaging the tissue in the individual foot reflex zones loosens the specific pathways to the body parts in question.
