The same process as CLASSIC extensions, except a lighter (in weight) and thinner (in diameter) lash is used and is combined with 1-6 other synthetic lashes to create a fan, which is then applied to an individual lash. This creates a voluminous look that is often described as "fluffy." Lash extension friendly mascara cannot be worn on volume lashes because it will cause the fans to close. The prices reflect the more labor and time intensive process.​
