You want to know the tutor you have chosen is right for you.  This 30 minute introduction is so you can meet each other, and chat about your goals and current level, before you commit to booking lessons.  In this introduction you should get to know your tutor, tell them about yourself, your interests, how you like to learn and what you want from your English lessons.  The right tutor will make you feel relaxed and will advise you what they think needs work, and how they will address that.

You may not want to commit to booking a lot of lessons, or you are not sure of your schedule.  So this is for you - just book one at a time, as you need it.  

Chat with other English students and gain confidence as you learn.  An ETFY tutor will always be there for any questions and to join in the fun.  A maximum of 5 students each week, so book early!Please be polite and respectful during Conversation Club.  PLEASE NOTE - Conversation Club will run between 45-60 mins each week.€15 each session.  Refunds cannot be issued, sorry.

Do you want to learn to sing but don't know where to start? Or maybe your a singer who's struggling with hitting the high notes, feeling tight or uncomfortable in your throat when singing, your voice getting tired easily?The best way to make progress and make singing easier I think is to have a personal teacher who knows singing technique and can show you where you go wrong and give the advice YOU need to make progress. I want to help you find and strengthen your voice by learning proper singing technique, and finding the right exercises for you, which makes practicing faster and more effective, thus easier! This assessment is done on a full-day facility observation depending on the size of your facility it may be broken into multiple sessions. You will need to send me a copy of your facility's policies for me to review in advance. The focus of this assessment will be on illness and infectious disease prevention, supporting children with special healthcare needs, medication administration, safety, and injury prevention, emergency preparedness response and recovery, infant and child social-emotional wellbeing, child abuse and neglect, physical activity, nutrition, oral health, environmental health, staff health and wellness, and policy development and implementation. Following the initial observation, we will schedule a 30-minute to1-hour conversation about the observation and come up with a quality improvement plan together to help you reach your goals. A shorter follow-up observation is suggested to help gauge goal growth. This assessment can help increase your Star rating license score and sanitation score or help with teacher growth. We can customize it to meet your needs. If you would like to focus on certain aspects of your program please select from the other listing that breaks this technical assistance into categories. Programs/classrooms that do the initial assessment will receive the Mindful Kids Activity Card Set and if you do a follow-up observation you will be able to choose a larger classroom activity/toy set.

Miranda Lanning will come to your program to conduct a group training for staff on the following topics: (all training options listed here are 1-2 hours) Go-NAPSACC Training Topics: Outdoor Play and Learning, Oral Health, Reducing Screen Time, Child Nutrition, Breastfeeding Friendly Environments, Infant and Child Physical Activity. If you register for one of the GoNAPSACC trainings then your program will receive free resources based on the training topic. In the registration page indicate which training topic you would like to do. If you would like for a group training to occur at night please still select a day and time and in the comments indicate that you would like the training at night and I will try to make it happen.

This activity is designed for a group of children ages 2 and up. Children will go outside and collect natural items like leaves, flower petals, sticks, rocks, etc. They will then be creating paintbrushes with the supplies that they collect. We will then paint with our newly made paintbrushes. If you don't want them picking on your plants I can bring a bucket of natural materials, and if you don't want to paint we can water paint on the pavement. This activity will be done in conjunction with the lead teacher/family home provider completing the GONSAPSACC self-assessment on outdoor play and learning. All needed supplies for this activity will be provided by Miranda at no cost.
