This course has been developed for potential taxi drivers that have been asked to attend this course by Central Bedfordshire Council. This course will cover the following: - CBC Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Policy. - Driver Conditions. - Private Hire and Hackney Carriage vehicle conditions. - Private Hire Operator Conditions. - Examples of customer care. - Hackney Carriage fares. - Road signs/ Highway Code You will be required to take a knowledge test at the end of the course.

This course has been developed for potential taxi drivers that have been asked to attend this course by Telford & Wrekin council. This course will cover the following: - Gain knowledge and understanding of your licence conditions and legislation. - Ensure the health and safety of you, your passengers, your vehicle, and other road users. - Gain knowledge and understanding of the needs of disabled passengers, and how you can help them. - Gain knowledge and understanding of the Safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults. You will be required to take a knowledge test at the end of the course. This service also includes one attempt at the Driving Standards Assessment, this will be conducted on the same day as the course or as soon as possible after this day.
