Small group aqua fit sessions suitable for older people and those who would benefit from low impact exercise.Ideal for beginners.  You don't need to be able to swim to enjoy these sessions.  The pool is standing depth and heated.  The pool is stairs entry up and down with one handrail.  Assistance can be given.  Not suitable for wheelchair users or those who cannot access stairs.Low impact and a lot of fun!Pay as you go - term time only.Payment is non-refundable. but you can amend your booking with 24hours notice.

The treadmill has been fixed!PLEASE NOTE - DO NOT CANCEL YOUR BOOKING AS YOU WILL NOT GET A REFUND OF THE DEPOSIT.  AMEND FOR A FUTURE DATETime:Your 1 hour booking includes your changing time either side of your swim.  We have back-to-back bookings so you must ensure you are out of the changing room by the end of your booking time.We do not allow bookings for longer than 1 hour due to high demand.Your time in the pool includes the use of underwater treadmill, endless current machine, jacuzzi seats and hoist if required.  You must provide your own sling.  Disability friendly wet room.  We recommend visiting in advance if you are a wheelchair user or unsteady on your feet.  The pool is freestanding with a stairs entry/exit.Number of users:The pool comfortably fits 2-3 adult size (older teenagers) and 2-3 children.  The maximum number of people allowed in at any time is 4.We do not allow lone swimming – you must bring a spotter along to observe you swimming if you are the only one going in the pool.  A baby or child under 10 years, or a person with sever learning difficulties cannot be used as a spotter.Cost:A non-refundable deposit of £18 inc vat is required at time of booking.  This covers the first person.Charges for additional people after the initial person is to be paid at the pool.2 people - additional £73 people - additional £144 people - additional £21Under 3 years are free of charge but are included in the maximum bather load of 4 people.If you need to hire a spotter (someone to observe you while you swim) this is an additional £7 and must be booked in advance – please call/text or email 07914540701 contactus@aquathlete.co.ukThese are the prices for family and carer sessions.  Private physiotherapist please message for pricing.We do not sublet for other swimming instructors to use our pools.Rules:We are a no shoe facility.  You must remove your shoes on entry.  Sliders/flipflops may be worn if they have not been used outdoors.No prams, pushchairs or car seats.Everyone MUST shower before entering the pool.  NO exceptions.Long hair must be tied back.Babies, children and incontinent adults who usually wear a nappy/slip must wear a swim nappy with a neoprene reusable "happy nappy" over the top.  If the council provides your nappy/slip they will also have access to swim nappies.Please do not change the temperature on the pool - it takes 1hour for the water to increase by half a degree so will be of no benefit to you whatsoever.  We will refuse future admission if you fail to follow this.Cancellations:You will receive an email with your booking information.  This has an appointment you can accept and add to your calendar.  Please use this email if you need to amend or cancel your booking.You can amend your booking up to 12hours before the start time - after this time you will lose your deposit and it cannot be used against another booking.We don’t like no-shows which is why the non-refundable deposit has now been brought in.If you can't make your appointment please amend the time via SimplyBook or contact us via email or by phone/text.  07914540701 contactus@aquathlete.co.ukHow to find us:The postcode will not bring you to our address.  Please use Stoney Cross in your satnav.Turn off Nottingham Road opposite the Laurels Nursing Home.  This is a gravel track.  Keep left at the fork and head towards Stoney Cross Garage – We are the unit directly opposite the garage.Please park with consideration in our carpark.What3Words: faces.crackling.havensDamage:Any damage must be reported and you may be invoiced for some/all of the cost of repair.  Not only does this include physical damage to the building and equipment, but to the water such as sickness/diarrhea/leaky nappies.  In such instances we have to empty, clean and refill the pool - this process can take up to 5 full days to return to temperature and the cost to us in lost business is upwards of £600.  DO NOT swim if you are unwell and please ensure you/your child is wearing the correct swimwear.
