Avec la pose américaine, appelée aussi gel X, on utilise des capsules spécifiques. Ces capsules sont posées sur l’intégralité de l’ongle : on les pose au plus près des cuticules, et elles recouvrent ainsi tout l’ongle et forment l’extension.Cela dure aussi longtemps qu’une pose en gel classique : 3 à 4 semaines environ. Ensuite la repousse de l’ongle naturel devient inesthétique.

La pose de vernis semi-permanent est un compromis parfait entre le vernis classique et la pose de gel. Le vernis semi-permanent, appliqué comme un vernis normal, est ensuite durci sous une lampe UV.

Le gainage est une technique qui consiste à renforcer l’ongle naturel sans le rallonger. On applique une fine couche de gel sur l’ongle pour le fortifier. Cette technique est idéale pour les personnes ayant des ongles fragiles ou cassants. Elle permet d’obtenir des ongles solides et brillants tout en conservant un aspect naturel.
