Support Audits:Robust Audit of a support file that covers a maximum of the previous 12 support sessions (3 months). The Audit should help the client to attain a 'GREEN' score in their periodic audit, and minimise the risk of a 'clawback' from their Local Authority. The Audit includes feedback on compliance, areas of improvement, and any concerns found. This gives the client the opportunity to make rectifications prior to an upcoming Audit from their RSL/Local Authority.

Our Quality team consists of a former Local-Authority team leader who has experience in making HB decisions within the Exempt Accommodation sector within the Local Council. We can assist clients with understanding Housing Benefit decisions, and help with creating & sending appeals for monies that are either unpaid or clawed-back. This service includes the following:- Checking through all correspondence regarding the HB claim.- Gathering information from the client regarding the HB decision. - Auditing of the support file and making rectifications where appropriate. - Creating HB appeal letters and gathering all relevant evidence into an email- Providing guidance to clients around the appeal process. This service is provided at Sorrento Support's office. £40.00 hour with a maximum leeway of 5 minutes i.e. 1 hour, 5 minutes. A session that lasts longer i.e. 1 hour, 6 minutes or more, will incur an additional fee of £40.00 for the second hour. Maximum of 5 attendees per session. Note: Sorrento Support cannot guarantee that unpaid or clawed-back monies will be recouped/paid to the client.
