It can act as a reminder of the why’s, do’s and don’t’s of supporting people with these conditions in a person-centred way.Group discussion and shared experiences are of real value in this course.

This course takes place at our Training Centre in Battle, to book it at your facility contact us on 01424 760 026 or hello@trainingforcaresoutheast.orgThis course refreshes delegates’ knowledge in assisting and moving people, and moving and handling objects; as well as refreshing knowledge of key elements of emergency first aid in social care.Skills for Care recommend learning is refreshed for these subjects at least annually.  The Resuscitation Council (UK) note that skills in subjects such as CPR training decay within 3 to 6 months after initial training.Refresher training in these subjects will assist you in complying with the CQC Fundamental Standards (Safety) and the KLOEs Safe and Effective.We recommend this course for anyone who has had previous face-to-face training in these subjects and needs to keep their knowledge refreshed. For employers, if you are not sure when your staff were last trained in these subjects or if their training was online we suggest booking them on our First Aid for Social Care and Assisting and Moving People and Objects first. This course would then be suitable as an annual refresher going forward.This course constitutes 6 hours of Continuous Professional Development for entry onto your own CPD log.

Learn to speak English or to improve your English.  We can work on speaking, listening, writing, reading, and vocabulary.  This is available for all ages.Math tutoring for Kindergarten through pre-calculus.Language Arts tutoring for Kindergarten through 12th grade.  This includes writing, spelling, and reading.Other subjects available upon request. National Speech and Debate as well as Thespian piece selection as well as coaching available as well.

Topics to be reviewed and evaluated include Number & Place Value, Fractions and Decimals, Geometry, Statistics and Probability, and Money & Financial Mathematics. In addition, we cater to students undertaking NAPLAN examinations.Students are taught the elements of English Grammar. They would be introduced to various concepts in Grammar, Tenses, Punctuation, Vocabulary, and Proofreading. Lessons would also involve spelling exercises, summarisation of books according to their year levels and they would develop the required skills needed to writing basic and short essays.
