Launching, loading, weather, and lake conditions require us to follow the schedule closely.Can I bring children?Yes. Children are welcome unless a specific outing is identified as adults-only.Please provide the age of every child when booking so we can confirm seating, equipment, and life-jacket needs.Everyone age 13 and younger must wear a properly fitted, Coast Guard-approved life jacket at all times while on the boat.Contact us before your outing if your child does not have an appropriate life jacket. Children must remain under the supervision of their parent or guardian.How many people can the boat hold?For comfort, safety, equipment space, and adequate riding time, we generally limit outings to a maximum of 10 guests.The appropriate group size may be lower depending on the ages of participants, activities planned, weather, and amount of equipment being carried.Do I need boating or watersports experience?No. Beginners are welcome.You may participate in wakesurfing, wakeboarding, swimming, boating instruction, or simply enjoy time on the lake.Let us know your experience level and goals before the outing so we can bring the right equipment and plan the day efficiently.What activities are available?Depending on the outing, conditions, and participant interests, activities may include:WakesurfingWakeboardingSwimmingRecreational lake timeBoat-driving instructionHitching and trailering basicsLaunching and retrieving the boatGeneral boating skills and safetyWhat should I bring?Bring the following:Water and non-alcoholic drinksLunch or snacksTowelSwimsuit or other appropriate waterwearLotion sunscreenSunglasses, preferably with a floating strapA hat that can be securedA warm layer, such as a hoodie or sweatpantsA Coast Guard-approved life jacket, if you have oneThe first part of the morning can feel cold after getting wet, even on warm days.We have an ice chest for drinks. Please let us know in advance so we can plan storage and equipment space.What are the basic boat rules?For everyone’s safety and to protect the boat:Be ready to launch on time.Follow the captain’s instructions.Stay seated while the boat is moving.Do not distract the captain while launching, docking, driving, or assisting a rider in the water.Pay attention to ropes and keep hands, feet, and personal items clear.Wear only bare, clean feet on the boat.Do not walk on the upholstered seats.Use the transom and non-skid decking areas for walking.Pack out your trash.Check for personal belongings before leaving.When in doubt, sit down, stay clear of the working area, and wait for instructions from the captain.Are there physical requirements?Guests must be able to safely enter and exit the boat.The boat sits approximately eight feet above the ground while on the trailer and is accessed by three steps.Anyone participating in wakesurfing or wakeboarding should be comfortable in deep water while wearing a life jacket and physically able to hold the tow rope during a water start.Contact us before booking if you have mobility limitations, injuries, medical concerns, or questions about whether an activity is appropriate for you.What happens if the weather changes?Wind is usually the largest factor affecting lake conditions.Weather and water conditions can change quickly.
