Los reflejos primitivos son movimientos involuntarios y automáticos que deben integrarse durante los primeros años de vida, para que se desarrollen los reflejos posturales y para que, estos reflejos retenidos, no afecten en el aprendizaje del niño. Los reflejos retenidos se pueden integrar a cualquier edad a través de una buena terapia de integración de reflejos primitivos o Terapia de Movimientos Rítmicos (TMR).
