Electronic targets are not available for these bookings.To ensure that there is a bench available for every member who books, these are half day sessions with 6 places available during each session.The stop butt must be raked and the range left tidy at the end of each session. The sanitising equipment and sand rake are available in the RD firing point.You will need to collect keys and a radio from the NRA Range Office.  You must obtain clearance from the range office before commencing shooting and advise them when you have finished shooting.Rifle usage should be recorded on the signing-in computer in the club house. Should this be unavailable, a range register for recording rifle usage details is available in the RD firing point.

Time Limit Mid Week Range hire is available for members to book on a self RO basis.Please ensure that the range and firing point is left tidy for the next user. Users will need to collect the Time Limit Keys and a radio from the NRA Range Office, obtain clearance from the range office before commencing shooting and advise them when shooting is complete. During Mid Week self RO bookings, TL and the main statics range act independently.The sanitising equipment an sand rake is available in the RD firing point.Rifle usage should be recorded on the signing-in computer in the club house. The 10m RT air rifle range is available for members to hire on similar terms to the other members range bookings. In addition, there is also an evening session available for this range.Please only book to use this range if you are able to set up, operate and close down the equipment correctly or will be accompanied by someone who is. (Any BSRC qualified RO should be able set up and operate the 10m range)SimplyBook has been set up to allow 6 members/guests to book for each session.  Guests may shoot in line with club byelaws and current Covid-19 restrictions.A full club member must be present throughout the session to ensure safe conduct and to ensure the Club House is secure on completion of the session.  Where this full club member is not one of the members booking the 10m RT air rifle range on SimplyBook, a record of handing over of responsibility is to be recorded in the diary in the outer office/kitchen. Only .177 calibre air rifles with a M/E no greater than 6ftlb are to be used on this range.For the evening booking:Members should be aware that the NSC Range Office will be closed in the evening. At least one member should have a mobile phone with them so that the emergency services can be called. At least one member should be competent to deliver first aid to a standard equivalent to HSE basic First Aid at Work. Unless other arrangements have been made, the Club House keys should be collected from the Range Office during the afternoon and returned to the wooden key-return box to the left of the Range Office entrance.
