If you’ve never touched clay before, this is the beginner's class for you.  $90 for two hours of instruction and creation of 2-3 pieces of your own work. Learn the basics of wheel-throwing, including centering, opening, pulling, and shaping a clay vessel, cut off and other introductory skills. We cover the entire wheel throwing process, from start to finish, plus, you get to create 2-3 pieces, all within a two-hour class session.Class includes all instruction, clay, wheels, bucket, personal-use tools and supplies and clean apron.All trimming, carving (to reduce excess clay mass), bisque and glaze firing functions will be performed by the studio team.While you choose your glaze colors; we do the cleanup of the work space – it's just that simple!You come in and pick-up your finished ceramics in the coming weeks...NOTE:  Actual glaze colors may vary slightly from any test tile. This course will look at ways that the hands and the wheel can be used together to create ceramic forms, both functional and sculptural. Explore a range of making, joining and painting/decorating techniques and the variety of options that are available for use when working with the ceramic medium. This course is perfect for beginning or experienced makers. 

Thursday  7pm -9pmMixed Business will allow students to experiment with clay using not one particular technique but instead combining both hand building and wheel throwing. This is a painting party for a 16"x20" acrylic painting. All supplies provided. There are over 100 paintings to chose from. The host can arrange to bring drinks or food. Just let us know ahead of time so we can make room. The parties can have 3 to 20 if at our location. If you would like to have at your location please call and let us know and make arrangements.

This is for an acrylic painting 12"x12. All supplies provided. There are a wide verity of designs available for this size canvas. There are simple child themes and more complicated designs for those looking for a challenge. This is to book 3 or more painters.
