Initial or repeat after treatment.Is conducted to assess the function of the middle ear and identify possible pathology of the middle ear that may indicate a referral to an Ear, Nose and Throat Specialist is necessary and/or a GP appointment for treatment.Tympanometry can indicate issues such as - middle ear fluid, OME glue ear, negative middle ear pressure, eustachian tube dysfunction, tympanic membrane (ear drum mobility issues) and a number of other middle ear problems that may be asymptomatic and require further action.It may be useful to have several middle ear function test over a period of time (pre and post treatment).Please book here ONLY for Tympanometry.
