Participants will gain knowledge of brain anatomy and its clinical significance, neurological assessment methods, and neuroplasticity principles in rehabilitation.The course further addresses the selection of relevant measurement methods, including the rationale for testing and which assessments are most appropriate. A brief introduction will also be given to commonly used ankle-foot orthoses (AFOs) for drop foot, including their early application in rehabilitation. In addition, the importance of goal setting in neurorehabilitation will be highlighted.Day 2: Electrical Stimulation in Neurological Rehabilitation (with primary focus on stroke, incomplete spinal cord injury, and multiple sclerosis patients)Participants will be introduced to the theoretical background of Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation (NMES) and the scientific evidence supporting its use.
