Broderierna görs med grovt yllegarn på tjock vadmal.Ta med dig sax, synål, några knappnålar, måttband, tråckeltråd, strumpsticka (t.ex. nro 2 eller 3). Materialavgift 10 € för vadmal och yllegarn.Soja will teach participants how to sew traditional Karelian wool embroidery from the Kivenapa folk costume, from the Karelia region. Students are asked to bring a pair of scissors, a selection of embroidery needles, measuring tape, basting thread and knitting needles (sock needles no 2 or no 3). Max. participants: 15 persons. Materialet som man syr på är kläde och garnet är ett mjukt ullgarn i många olika nyanser. Under workshopen får du prova grunderna i yllebroderiet påsöm på ett uppritat tyg i kläde.Since the middle of the 19th century, women have embroidered these colourful woolen flowers on their folk costume pieces. This wool-on-wool embroidery is sewn using different, vibrant shades. During this workshop, participants will learn the basics of Påsöm. Material cost 10 euros and include fabric, yarn and a needle.
