Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Department of Safety and Security has issued guidance on the fingerprinting of essential and emergency new hires. You will be required to acknowledge acceptance of these safety practices before scheduling your appointment. These best practices will reduce the risk of exposure to new hires and current staff. In addition, these guidelines will streamline and expedite the fingerprinting process to reduce exposure while accomplishing the mission.To limit risk, all functions of the fingerprint process will operate by appointment only.Do not attend an appointment for your background clearance if you have any COVID-19 symptoms (fever of 100°F or greater, chills, cough: either new, or different than your usual cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, or any other flu-like symptoms.), are awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test, or have been advised to self-quarantine.If you have symptoms or have been advised to self-quarantine, please do not reschedule your appointment until the criteria to discontinue home isolation are met in consultation with health care providers and state and local health departments.We will reschedule appointments as necessary at a later date.

To monitor the number of people at the Santa Set  you will need to make an online booking to visit Santa. If anyone is feeling unwell, experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, been in contact with someone who has tested positive to COVID-19, or been to a COVID hotspot please do not book. Unfortunately as we have limited sessions, please look at other locations if you can not book at your site.Please don’t arrive early for your booked session as you will not be able to queue until your session time starts.Maintain your distance to other families and follow the floor decal social distancing indicators when waiting to see Santa.Use hand sanitiser on entry to the Santa SetThe number of people allowed inside the Santa Set will be limited based on the current Government Regulations. In NSW, this will include the 4 square metre rule, this limits one household at a time entering the set. Signage at the Santa Set will indicate the maximum capacity. The maximum capacity will need to include Santa, volunteer and the photographer.Due to social distancing unfortunately family members will NOT be able to high five Santa, sit on the throne next to Santa or sit on Santa’s knee. All family members will need to remain 1.5 metres from Santa. We will have Christmas inflatables to help with this. Parents and carers we really appreciate your assistance with younger children.There will be stools provided near  Santa you to sit and pose for your photo. With a few photography tricks you will appear closer than you really are.The stools will be cleaned and sanitized between each sitting by the volunteer. This volunteer will also clean other touch points. Please be kind, as this will take time.Unfortunately Santa will be unable to hold babies or young children this year. At this stage either a parent or much older sibling will need to hold the baby. Unfortunately we won’t be able to offer our Prop Box this year but you are welcome to bring along your own Props, hats, headbands etc and get dressed up for a fun Santa Photo.Photos will be emailed to families the following week. This will ensure we offer timely photos. AGAIN, please cancel your booking if anyone is unwell on the day of your shoot.
