We believe that all students can find a way to appreciate and understand mathematics. Our courses seek a balance of mathematical skills; applied mathematics; and recognition of the beauty, artistry, and elegance of mathematics. We teach students to reason logically, recognize patterns, and learn through failure. CSW’s Science Department introduces students to best practices of scientific study through hands-on experiences in laboratory-based classes, with regular opportunities for in-depth research projects.
