Offered Saturday mornings from 10 am – 1 pm, we’ll take you on a culinary journey aimed at making you an expert chef in your own home kitchen, during this 8-week experience you will learn:.  Knife Skills & Kitchen Essentials* (Focuses heavily on chopping, specific knife cuts, mise-en-place, knife care & more)Salads, Dressing & Hors D'Oeuvres (Vinaigrettes, creamy dressings, dips, finger foods, etc.)  Soups, Stocks & Sauces (5 Mother Sauces, purees, broths, etc.)Breakfast Cookery (Eggs Benedict, Hollandaise, perfect omelettes, pancakes, and more)Starches & Sides (Pasta, gnocchi, risotto, perfect mashed potatoes, gratin & rice cookery)Poultry Cookery (Deboning whole chicken, trussing, searing, grilling, duck confit & more)Meat Cookery (Cooking the perfect steak - rare to medium well - including cookery of beef, lamb and pork)Fish & Seafood Cookery (Fileting a whole fish into store-bought portions; grilling, searing, pan-frying perfect fish, as well as how to cook shrimp & shellfish)We aim to show you how to perfect your techniques so that you not only make delicious food, but save your hard earned time and money.  Each class (*other than Knife Skills) we cook at least 4 recipes and encourage you to bring tupperware as there's a lot of food leftover.We provide all the tools, equipment & materials. It is your opportunity to site down and gave a relaxed chat through ideas with Shannon in her Dundonald studio. You can see where the magic happens and try on pieces toe help you envision your future final design(s).How to prepare for your consultation?Please bring along any reference material that you have. The more information the better! Check out Shannon's Instagram and website to draw inspiration from. Have an idea of your budget and materials such as which metal and stones that you would like your pieces to be made from. If commissioning a remodel please bring everything that you would like to use in the piece(s). If you are unsure of the metal and stones, Shannon can acid test the metal and also commission a stone report for you if necessary.If you are not able to travel to the studio please look at the Bespoke Design / Remodelling via Zoom option.
