Based in San Diego, Takeda California, Inc. (TCAL) is one of Takeda’s three global research sites (the other two are Cambridge in the U.S. and Shonan in Japan). Takeda entered the San Diego area in 2005 through the acquisition of Syrrx, Inc., a biotech focused on structure-based drug discovery. Since then, TCAL has continued to grow through acquisitions and engaging talented people from around the world.
