Braids are a great protective style that can last for 6-12weeks depending on hair texture. A low maintenance hair style that can be washed. Oils, creams and braid sprays can be applied to the scalp to maintain good scalp health. 

Cornrows are a great protective style. With a variety of cornrow styles a sample picture of your desired style would be required. Extensions can be added to the hair or simply done without. Your scalp can still be cared for with oils and sprays. Hair can be washed and air-dried or blow-dried.

Crotchet braids are a great protective style with a variety of wear. You can choose to apply pre-braided, pre-twisted, pre-locked or curly hair extensions. longevity depends on hair extensions of choice but a  6- 8 week keep is standard.

Explore the art of flowers through watercolor medium in this still life class with owner of Narcissus Florals and artist, Ken Malagiere. In this workshop, you will be painting a beautifully arranged floral design with watercolors- a painting medium in which color pigments are mixed with a water-based solution. This class is for anyone interested in painting, with no experience needed. Watercolor is the perfect medium for both beginner and intermediate artists. You will be painting on an elevated cardstock with the option for framing your piece at the end. All materials needed will be provided light fare and refreshments will be served. Workshops are held at the Narcissus Floral Atelier located 2005 NJ-71 #1, Spring Lake, NJ 07762.
