There is something magical about a whole field of blooming lavender and it is no surprise that many of our visitors come specifically to take photographs. While many of us are budding photographers with our fancy smartphones, there are some who choose to hire professional photographers to take family or special event photos.If you fall into the first category as a “non professional”, then you may come and freely take photos any time that we are open which this year is from June 12 to July 20, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays from 10am to 4pm. There is no need for you to book an appointment.If, however, you are hiring a professional photographer or you are a professional photographer, then the chances are you would like to come at times when the farm is not open to the public. To receive private access to the lavender field, for two hours when we are closed, there is a charge of $100.In our location, for the months of June and July, the time frame of 6pm-8pm seems to cover the “Golden Hour” which is coveted for its exceptional light. As a photographer, you may book an individual private shoot for the full two hours or back-to-back mini-sessions for several clients, so long as you can be finished by 8pm. Our gate is closed after hours and both you and your client(s) will need a code to gain access to the farm. We will confirm this gate code to you with your booking – be sure to keep it safe as cell service is spotty out here.  Please be respectful of our land and our plants – we work hard to keep them at their best and ask you to be careful to protect the lavender from any damage while you are taking photos.Note about the lavender bloom and harvestLavender like most plants, is sensitive to weather and temperature and this means that the lavender “bloom” is sometimes hard for us to predict. Generally speaking, our English lavenders bloom from mid-June through mid/end July but some years the bloom can start in early June and some years not until the end of June…it just depends.Initially we are being conservative with our choice of available dates in 2026 for photography sessions and we may be able to open up more spots as the season progresses – the goal is to have as much color as possible for your photos. To be able to collect all the lavender we need for distillation, making wreaths and drying, we have to start our harvest when the lavender is at its peak. We are careful to start cutting the rows as close to the edges of the field as possible in order to leave plenty of color for photos but if you choose dates later in July then it is likely that some of our rows will be green rather than purple.

Sit comfortably in the shade and learn how to create a beautiful lavender wreath which you can take home and enjoy for many months. We will harvest the lavender for you (unless you'd like to do that too) and provide everything you need. Bring a friend and enjoy a glass of our strawberry lavender lemonade while you work on your wreath. The class generall takes around ninety minutes.

Spend an evening with us on the farm with a nice glass of local wine and some paints!  Artist Ashley Mendes has been teaching Paint & Sip classes at the English Lavender Farm for the last six years so we know you will have a fun and enjoyable time, especially if you come with a friend or two. You will be seated comfortably in a shady spot on our patio and Ashley will provide you with clear step by step instructions to create your very own lavender masterpiece. No experience is necessary and we will provide everything you need. Light snacks will be available as well as alcohol free drinks.This is a great way to spend quality time with friends or family and makes a great Mothers Day gift.

Mastering is done at a rate of $25 per-song.

We require a non-refundable $50 deposit per 2 hour block, in order to lock in time slots. We require Half down and half at the time of service. Multiple 2 hour blocks may be purchased at a time. The deposit will be half of the entire session. Deposit will be applied to the session. In the event of needing to reschedule. All reschedules should be done asap and with no less than 24 hours from the date of the session to avoid losing your deposit entirely. Deposits are non-refundableTo receive the $35 per-hour rate you must purchase the 10 hour Block lock-in.

This is a Mixing only session. Stems will need to be uploaded via the upload section of the website. The cost of a mixing only session without having to punch a clock is $175. One hour is allotted for booking only. Mastering is also available for an additional $25.
