Each month Special Haven provide a free training for parents, carers, teachers, therapists infact anyone wishing to know more about the multi sensory room and how to use it correctly. The trainings are held at Special Havens home 215 G Street, Antioch and are facilitated by Michael Worley and Jude Byrne who are both Special Haven Board members. The training will consist of a short meet and greet followed by a 20 minute informative video about the need for multi sensory rooms with following discussion. The last hour of the session will be hands on training in the multi sensory room. In order to ensure the room is used correctly and to its fullest advantage the room can only be booked by a facilitator with a proof of training card. This card must be shown at time of room use.
