(2nd–8th Grade) Homework & Class Project Help – Group/Sibling Session (In-Person Sessions Only)
FIRST-TIME SCHOLARS: All new students must have completed or scheduled an initial consultation before their first session. Failure to schedule or complete the consultation may result in appointment cancellation and forfeiture of deposit.Session Length: 60 minutesDeposit Required for this Session: $10 per student / $25 per family (for siblings). A deposit is required before each session to secure your scholar’s spot. Deposits are collected after the consultation, once future sessions are scheduled, and are applied directly toward the total session fee.Description:
This small-group session is designed for siblings or students who thrive in a collaborative learning environment. Each group includes up to 4 scholars who receive guided support on homework, projects, and skill-building activities while benefiting from teamwork, shared problem-solving, and positive peer encouragement.
Sessions are interactive, structured, and led in a way that supports each child’s unique learning style — ensuring focused attention even in a group setting.
Group Confirmation:
To finalize your child’s spot in the group, parents must confirm their preferred day and time during the consultation. Groups are filled on a first-come, first-served basis, and once a class reaches its 4-student limit, it closes to new enrollments for that time slot.
Each session includes:
• Review of current homework, upcoming projects, or assigned readings
• Targeted focus on key academic skills (reading, writing, or math)
• Guided instruction that encourages group collaboration and peer support
• Confidence-building activities and positive communication practice
• Group review packet or practice sheets for continued learning
• Short, built-in brain breaks to maintain focus and avoid frustration
After the session:
• Practice sheets or review pages may be sent home for reinforcement
• Brief group progress feedback available to parents upon request
Goal:
To help scholars strengthen academic understanding, improve communication, and build confidence while learning alongside peers in a positive, structured group setting.
Please Note:
• Group sessions are in-person only and capped at 4 students per session.
• Groups may include siblings or non-sibling peers of similar grade levels.
• If fewer than 2 students are booked for a time slot, Acaletes may reschedule or convert the session to a private 1:1 session at the standard rate.We understand that things come up! If you need to reschedule, please notify Acaletes at least 24 hours in advance.Sessions rescheduled with a 24-hour notice may be moved to another available day or time within the same week (based on availability).Requests made less than 24 hours before the session will be treated as a "late cancellation" and may result in forfeiture of the session fee or deposit, unless due to illness or an emergency. Make-Up Sessions:When proper notice is given, a make-up session can be arranged within 7 days of the original date. After that time, the session is considered "expired" and "non-refundable."In the unlikely event Acaletes needs to reschedule, families will be offered the choice of a make-up session or full credit toward the next booking!
